Before enquiring, please make sure you have read our adoption info page: Adopting a cat from Catcuddles
Cats for adoption
Looking for a new companion?
Across the Catcuddles fostering network, we have many gorgeous felines looking for homes. Adopting a cat is an immensely rewarding experience and is an opportunity to really make a difference in a cat's life. Please bear in mind that it is also a lifelong commitment and we do our utmost to match felines with homes that suit their needs, character and long term requirements. We value our cats based on their personalities and match to a home based on their needs not their looks. So messages requesting specific colours, breeds or coat lengths may very well be disregarded.
We always carry out a proper home visit to prospective adoptive homes and only home a cat if we feel the adoptive home is as suitable for the cat as the adopters are keen to proceed. We therefore enjoy an exceptionally high happy-endings rate and extremely rare return guests. We also follow up on our adopted kitties after they leave us, so we can ensure they are enjoying life as much as they deserve to. We aim to be by the new owners' side with practical advice for the life of the adopted feline.
Our suggested adoption donation is £100-£125, to cover vaccinations, microchipping, neutering, flea and worming treatments and a health check, among other costs.
Would you like to meet some?
please note: although we are currently unable to accept visitors in our foster homes, adoptions are still happening, so please contact the adoptions team who will be happy to go through our adapted process to hopefully allow you to welcome a new feline into your home before too long!
We welcome visitors to any of our foster homes by appointment only. Most of our cats are currently fostered around SE London in the Royal Borough of Greenwich.
Please get in touch either via the link on a specific cat or our general form below and we would be happy to give you more information and book you in for a visit. Please note that cats are hosted across a sizeable area of London, so visiting your kitties of choice may require two stops!
An experienced volunteer is always at hand to make the introductions with our kitties. We only allow 4-12 visits per site per week, depending on the number of cats fostered, so we always pre-qualify visitors, and appreciate appointments being kept.
If you will be moving in the near future, going on holiday soon, or have building works happening then please get in touch when you’re ready to adopt.
If you are interested in adopting kittens or companion cats for your existing resident kitty, please note we do not have any available for adoption so keep monitoring our website or social media pages.
