World Kindness Day 2022

Today we’re celebrating the kindness of everyone who supports Catcuddles to enable us to promote and strengthen the feline-human bond and help pair up unwanted cats with loving forever homes and humans.

Thank you for your support, comments, updates, donations, for sharing our posts and your encouragement. Thank you to our amazing volunteers and veterinary colleagues, without whom none of this would even be possible.

🍂 We’ve raised £1002 so are now halfway to our target for our Autumn Appeal fundraiser. The smallest donations really do add up and make a difference. These donations will go towards the care costs for some of our charity funded cats to cover their food, litter, vaccinations, flea and worming and microchipping. We don't expect to raise enough to cover all of these expenses but hope to raise at least £2k to lessen the financial impact, so that we can focus out attentions on finding suitable adoptive homes for all, and continuing to helping the ever-growing list of cats on our waiting lists. 🍂

The cats in our care all have a brighter future awaiting them but some cats are not so fortunate or they experience needless suffering before they find help. There are many reasons why neutering is the safest, kindest move you can make as a responsible cat owner. Here are just a few:

🐱 Reduce overpopulation

🐱 Reduce the risk of cancer

🐱 Reduce the likelihood of losing your cat

🐱 Prevent fights and spread of disease

🐱 Keep the peace in your neighbourhood

🐱 Reduce unwanted and often dangerous pregnancies

🐱 Help stop suffering
